When Life Isn't Complicated Enough

As some of you know I have been on my weight loss mission for quite some time loosing 4 stone in 2012 and up to this point 3.5lbs this year (it is only the 17th Jan and weigh day is tomorrow)

When the very kind people at came to my plight and offered me a pair of trainers from their VAST selection (HERE).

Now when I first visited their site I was a little taken aback by the sheer varity and amount of styles! However their option menus and option selector saved  my bacon as you can select easily exactly what you looking for by not only size but by price too! And if that’s not enough they even offer a Price Match Promise! So if you find the shoes cheaper anywhere else and they will give you your money back! Bonus

Now although the range was huge I was also looking for something pretty specific and I have been looking for a while … hockey trainers! As most of you know I prance about on an astro pitch under the pretence of playing hockey and on the moments I do try to run I have to say I have struggled in standard trainers and often slipped

Being the cheeky git I am I requested Hockey Trainers but when it came to look I was happily ecstatic over the more than reasonable range of these specialist shoes too! Being the friendly folk they are they took pity and allowed me my first choice of Hockey Shoe (some that matched my team kit!)

They arrived last Saturday morning in time for my Hockey match so I was over the moon! These shoes are now my lucky pair as I even scored the first goal in my first season back after a 17 year absence.

Previously this season I have suffered from shin splints and from a torn calf muscle along with my on-going SPD and although trainers are not going to fix my dilapidated body they certainly make things a whole lot more comfortable and I can’t thank enough for helping this overweight knackered mum out by showing me the delights of their site.

Ollie is currently hiding his wallet, although I am sure he won’t be once I have shown him the football trainers as he started playing football again last week.
