When Life Isn't Complicated Enough

About Us:

About us: ….. Well lets start at the beginning

I am Jaime I am a stay at home Mum (or Cruela Deville as Beth would say) I haven’t always been lucky enough to be a stay at home Mum as with Beth I was a single working mum.

I am OCD about organizing as well as cleaning. I am a shortly at 5 foot tall and like most women I am in the process of loosing some baby weight and chocolate weight all at the same time! I go to Zumba once a week and have recently joined a Hockey team (after 17+ years of not picking up a stick)

I am physically a bit of wreck and have suffered with (SPDSymphysis Pubis Dysfunction since a few weeks into my 2nd pregnancy and still continue with this condition even after the birth of my son.

My Husband is Mark (Ollie) and he was my first ever boyfriend when i was 13 and he was 12! after many many years apart we got back together some years ago.

We recently eloped and Married in Whitby and had fish and chips! (we are not always conventional!) Ollie works full time and he too is dropping to bits he has already had 2 operations on his failing hips and with this condition in time he will need full hip replacements! (The way we are both going motorized wheelchairs here we come!)

Ollie is a an avid fan of football and supports Everton FC – hence red is a naughty word in our house!

Bethany (Beth) is 11 and coming into her hormonal pre-teens! she is exceptionally bright however common sense is something we are working on!

Beth is my daughter from a previous relationship and she still sees her biological dad once a fortnight and she has just started calling Ollie ‘Daddy O’.  Beth always wanted a sibling so after nearly 10 years of waiting she got her wish with Joshua. She is my mini me and I adore her.

Joshua is 22 months and is at that amazing age of trying to do it all himself and we are just starting with a temper, which I think is based on his frustration! He has slept through since being a few weeks old and he loves his ‘Ted’ (a bear bought when he was born) Joshua completely idolizes his big sister and likes nothing more than sitting in his sisters lap while the pair of them suck their thumbs!

Well that’s a little about us no doubt more of our little secrets will be revealed in this blog!!
