My Weight Loss Journey – Week 2 of 2013

After last weeks post on my weight loss journey(you can read HERE)I realised I may just be able to do this .. so with my second wind and confidence boosted I set myself some exercise targets for last week:

  • A minimum of 3 x 2 mile walks
  • Attend both hockey training sessions (junior with Beth & ladies = 180 mins)
  • Play the full 70 minute match on Saturday.

Although full of good intention I only achieved one out of the three!!
I played the full 70 minutes of my hockey match, wearing my new super duper hockey shoes which I have also reviewed HERE.

I managed 2 out of the 3, 2 mile walks but the blasted weather has me beaten! Pushchairs and ice are not a good mix and although I went out to try for my 3rd walk to hit my target it was stopped short when I nearly lost my footing in the ice and nearly ended in the middle of the road with Joshua in his chariot!

Unfortunately hockey training this week was cancelled due to a solid pitch and the playing surface being very unsafe so I was gutted I didn’t get my new Hockey Shoes on from www.sportsshoes.com yesterday.

Food wise this week I have really tried although I have succumbed to Swiss roll and custard one evening and the 12 boxes of Jaffa Cakes Ollie has brought home from his works shop! – I feel I need to explain where he works they have a shop and in this shop he is able to purchase massively reduced priced food items that are coming up to the use by date.

This week’s purchase was 12 boxes of damn Jaffa Cakes, which I love! However you will be pleased to know that I have not eaten all 12 boxes just the odd Jaffa cake!

So D-day today …. Drum roll please …

Another loss!!

So my loss so far this year:

Last Week =  -3.5lbs

This Week = -3.2lbs

So total loss (this includes last year)

4st 6.7lbs

Next weeks targets:

  • A minimum of 3 x 2 mile walks … again!
  • Attend both hockey training sessions (junior with Beth & ladies = 180 mins)
  • No Hockey match … so just get my bum from the sofa!!

After my post last week I want to show some diet love to my co dieters on their recent progress, why not pop along and show them some love too!
